Dr. Marshall Fleer loves being an orthodontist. He has specialized in orthodontics in central New Jersey for 25 years.
He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University's School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1984. He received additional training at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, completing a General Practice Residency in 1985. After practicing as a general dentist, Dr. Fleer returned to Columbia University's School of Dental and Oral Surgery where he received his Certificate in Orthodontics in 1988.
Upon completion of his orthodontic training, Dr. Fleer was invited to teach at Columbia University's Dental School where he continues to volunteer his time lecturing in the Department of Orthodontics.
Dr. Fleer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, having earned his Board Certification in 1998.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontists.
For his dedication to providing optimal care to his patients, Dr. Fleer has been named to the Best of the U.S. list for Dentists (Orthodontists) as well as named as one of New Jersey's Best Dentists (Orthodontists) for the past several years.
Dr. Fleer is a certified by the American Heart Association as a CPR instructor. He volunteers his time teaching the CPR Healthcare Provider course to dentists and their staff.
Married since 1984 to his wife, Randi, they have one son, Ryan, and a houseful of dogs (Standard Poodles). He is an obsessive gardener, which includes his fish ponds.
